Subject: Message from Glenlakes Board of Directors

We would like to thank everyone for attending the annual meeting on March 10th. It was great having an overflowing crowd. I think it was the largest turnout we've had.

We would also like to thank the outgoing Board of Directors (Larry Morgan, Vern Moore and Karen Lassere) for the excellent jobs they did last year. Please let them know you appreciate what they accomplished.

The current Board of Directors are as follows:

Cliff Tillman - President

Anne Mitchell - Vice-President

Karen Lassere - Secretary/Treasure

This years board meetings are scheduled for June 9, September 8, December 8 and March 9,2010. We will let you know when the dates, locations and time are

confirmed.

We have a number of committees that could use some volunteer help. The current committees are Irrigation, Ponds, Socials, Lawn Beautification (front entrance and the three islands), Arc, and Ladies Luncheons. These committees don't take a lot of your time, but you'll have a lot of fun and meet your neighbors. Please step-up and be counted on.

Thanks to Jim Trest who has volunteered to take my slot on the ARC committee.

Don't forget the "Spring Block Party" is this weekend (Saturday, March 21st at 2:00pm in the west commons area). If you haven't already, please contact Karen Lassere (980-1179) and let her know if you plan to attend. She's ordering the po-boys. Sounds pretty good to me. Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather forcasted, and socialize with your neighbors.

The Gardens/Villas Golf Challenge is Thursday, March 26, 2009. This is a lot of fun and also bragging rights at Glenlakes for the year. You can sign -up with Vern Moore or Bob Boosveld.
